Let’s Get Cosy: PJ Day Favourites

Let’s Get Cosy: PJ Day Favourites

On Sunday, I spent pretty much the entire day curled up on the sofa in pj bottoms and a big cosy jumper, it was pretty magic. We have been fairly busy since we came back from holiday last month, and I was dying for a day of chilling, it was just what I needed, but looking down at my sorry excuse for pjs, I realised it’s probably time for an update.

A day of perfect relaxation, for me, would look like this: a lie in, followed by hot toast made from fresh bread, with lots of real butter, and a big mug of milky tea. Once I crawled out of bed, I would spend the rest of the day chilling on the sofa, watching films, and munching on sweets with the kids. Followed by a takeaway, probably Chinese. Then a hot bath made with lots of bubbles from a Lush Comforter Bubble Bar (or one of my other favs) and a slosh of Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir bath oil. Finished off with Netflix in bed, chocolate, and a comforting hot drink.

I think I have come to the age where a day spent like this, is actually preferable to a day spent in the pub. How things change. A food hangover is now preferable to a wine one.

So, although the likelihood is that I will be stringing out wearing my tattered pjs until after Crimbo (new Christmas pjs are a must), here’s what I would love to have for my next chill day. I already have the dressing gown, but I love it that much, that I wouldn’t change it. Let’s hope the next one is not too far away!

What would your ideal day of chilling look like? Or do you have ants in your pants, and can never sit still?

You can’t beat a PJ day!! I would live in PJs if I could and often get changed into them as soon as we’re in from the school run! x

I am exactly the same! Which is probably why I should treat myself to some nicer ones. I quite like this time of year for coming home early and throwing on my pjs too! Xxx

PJ days are my kind of bliss.
I’m going to be clicking your links and getting some new pjs though, mine are mostly old pj trousers and band tshirts. I think I need to be a grown up and treat myself to some proper pajama sets 😉 xx
